She is an experienced ‘lawyer for child’, helping children’s views to be heard, advocating and helping parents bridge the gap in difficult situations. Domestic violence is another area of expertise and Libby has worked for many women from Women’s Refuge over the years.
Libby works extensively in the area of relationship property law, both helping people classify what is to be separate property and joint during a relationship, and also resolving property issues when a relationship ends. She enjoys helping clients with adoptions and surrogacy matters.
General practice law means Libby also covers a wide brief, including residential property conveyancing, wills and succession planning and family trusts.
Libby lives on a hill country farm and vineyard with her husband. Non-work time is spent with an adult family, in her garden, and exploring the great outdoors that Marlborough offers.
